Dr. Marie Delorme - Stories - Women's History Month 2014

While I was looking for a new challenge and I had the seed of
an idea and that idea initially was to help indigenous artists
protect their copyright and to market their work.
That was 15 years ago and the idea has grown into
four companies, which is the Imagination Group of companies
all of which are national in scope.
There was another woman who was very instrumental
in helping me get started.
When I spoke with her she was actually running a competing
company and she was so generous in giving me her time and
her advice and since then I've had the opportunity to pay it
forward and to do the same thing for other entrepreneurs.
You have to engage with people who support your ideas.
You have to build a solid, well researched business plan but
you also have to know that that plan is only a piece of paper
until you make it a reality.
