Purpose: This 36-month project will identify strategies among Sherbrooke-area stakeholders to address the issues of sexual and spousal violence, prostitution and sexual exploitation of women and girls. Working committees will develop practical solutions to address the issue, partnerships between community stakeholders to address shortcomings and improve services to enable women to re-enter into the job market, and access key social supports. An implementation committee consisting of the organization and community and institutional partners will set priorities, implement and follow-up on the community plan.
