Purpose: This 28-month project will address sexual assault and harassment of women on campus, working with the student population of three postsecondary institutions: the Acadian Peninsula and Dieppe campuses of the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick in Shippagan, and the Shippagan campus of the University of Moncton. Strategies will be developed based on the findings of a plan that includes the identification of shortcomings, priorities and needs, a gender-based analysis, safety audits and the drafting of a concise, sustainable plan. The use of new technologies will be central to the solutions adopted. The information generated and the tools developed will be accessible and widely disseminated.
