Value: $199,900.00

Purpose: This 24-month project will address institutional barriers that limit the capacity of community organizations in Montreal to respond to the economic needs of immigrant women entrepreneurs. To better identify and respond to the economic needs of women who have already launched or are about to launch a business, the organization will build strategic partnerships and collaboration with 4 local Community Economic Development Corporations (CEDC) within the Montreal area. The Corporations and other community stakeholders will work together to identify priorities and promising practices already in place in the targeted communities. Multilateral strategies will be piloted to evaluate their effectiveness for immigrant women.
