Purpose: This 36-month project will engage young Aboriginal women and men in delivering youth-led, community-based activities to address sexual violence in Yukon and northern British Columbia communities. As part of the project, Aboriginal youth will develop an understanding of sexual violence against women and girls, and learn about promising practices for addressing the issue. In collaboration with community partners, culturally-appropriate youth-led activities will be developed and delivered to engage the wider community.
