Purpose:	This 7-month grant will support meaningful and effective engagement of women’s organizations in the review of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). FAFIA will assist a range of women’s non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with varying capacities to provide input and participate in the CEDAW process (e.g. by consulting and sharing information about issues other NGOs will be focusing on, compiling a consolidation of the reports they produce; and convening a follow up consultation with governments to review the Concluding Observations and plans for implementation).
