Strong Girls. Strong World

Strong Girls. Strong World

I've always worked on, I think, other people's dreams,
I wish people would start realizing
how strong girls really are.
I don't like it when my opinion
isn't taken as seriously as guys.
I think we need to eliminate these stereotypes
that we associate with women.
How you have to look, how you have to talk,
what you have to wear.
I'd like adults to stop underestimating
the power of girls.
[Music] Hey, hey, hey!
I want to be a lawyer.
A journalist.
English professor.
An in-sports psychologist.
There was a time when women social activists asked men
to stand up for their rights.
But this time, we will do it by ourselves.
I feel powerful when I break stereotypes
and I surprise people with who I actually am
and not with who they think girls should be.
I feel powerful when I achieve goals I set for myself.
The feeling of achieving something that someone
once told you you couldn't do, is just so good.
When I beat my own high score.
I act on what I think is right,
and not what other people tell me to do.
I feel powerful when I'm in charge.
Strong girls.
Strong world.
I think if girls around the world knew that
if we are given the opportunities,
we can do so much.
Education. Education. Education.
Education is crucial for women to achieve gender equality.
Strong. Oh... [laughs]
Strong girls, strong world.
I think girls can change the world
because we are capable of so many things.
Given the opportunities, we can be just a strong...
To succeed in life and not to be afraid...
To push myself...
And just to overall be confident.
The Silver Bear for Best Actress, Rachel Mwanza.
I think women can do extraordinary things
in their country.
They can build.
Girls can achieve just as much as boys can
and all they need is an opportunity.
It actually like makes me fired up,
because we are capable of so many things.
Together, we can make a difference.
Girls are beautiful, girls are strong.
Strong girls...
Strong world.
Strong girls. Strong world.
Strong girls, strong world!
Whoo!
