Purpose: | The project aims to empower young Aboriginal women to decrease their involvement in at-risk activities, and to learn skills to enhance their economic and social well-being. Project activities will be: a series of weekly workshops to increase personal and employability skills, access to one-on-one counselling and employability and/or return to school. Many of the projects activities will be arts based to allow participants to address issues creatively. Specific workshops will be designed around the participants interests and concerns. |
