Purpose: The project is intended to support women working in the sex trade or marginalized by homelessness in leaving or coping with life on the streets. The project will provide a series of information/workshop sessions related to the specific needs of the women, as well as a number of group workshops for sex trade workers wishing to transition to “main street” employment or education/training. Through access to information sessions and group workshops, women will have the knowledge and skills (tools) to more effectively address social and economic barriers to their participation within their communities.
