Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||Grand River Employment & Training Inc.|
|Purpose:||This 30-month project will improve the economic security of unemployed or underemployed Aboriginal women of the six Nations of the Grand River Territory in Ontario. A project steering committee of service providers and other key stakeholders will conduct focus groups in order to assess the needs and gaps in services for Aboriginal women in the community. This information will inform the development of a community plan to help Aboriginal women seek and secure employment. The project will also identify ways the community plan can complement or be integrated into Six Nations Comprehensive Community strategy.|
