Purpose: | This 36 month project will engage women, girls, community organizations, and other key stakeholders in developing and implementing a community plan to address the issue of family violence in Fort Saskatchewan. The broader community will also be targeted for education and awareness activities. A girls task force will be created to help guide community planning. The project will identify opportunities to coordinate existing services and to create new resources to better meet the needs of girls and women to deal with gendered violence issues. |
