Purpose: | This 28 month project will address gender based violence at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, AB, as well as their satellite campus locations. The Centre will use materials from the internationally recognized Dont Be That Guy campaign to increase awareness about gender based violence on campus. Using focus groups as well as an open-house format, a campus community plan will be developed with multiple stakeholders including faculty members. Students will be engaged to identify issues of concern such as alcohol and drug facilitated sexual assault. |
