Purpose: This 36 month project will target low income women living in isolated communities along the Sunshine Coast region of British Columbia. A community plan will be developed based on analysis of local promising practices in small business development and the potential for increased business opportunities for women using locally made products. To measure progress, a report card will be developed and shared with key stakeholders to support continued community mobilization around women’s economic security.
