Purpose: | This 36-month project will assist young girls aged 12 to 17 in Abitibis rural municipalities who are at risk of becoming victims of sexual exploitation, especially for commercial purposes. In partnership with key community agencies and institutions and partners from Aboriginal communities, a community plan will be developed to address the sexual exploitation of young girls. The plan will identify their needs, examine the most promising practices and develop tools to reduce violence against teenage girls and young girls. |
