Purpose: This 28-month project will work with University of British Columbia students, faculty, staff, and administration to address the issue of violence against women on campus through a Coordinated Community Response strategy. A Campus Task Force will be organized with the participation of key campus stakeholders and representatives across all university disciplines. The project will use gender based analysis to examine a broad cross-section of institutional mechanisms currently in place and make recommendations to improve policies as well as implement priority actions to improve campus safety.
