Purpose: | This 36-month project will provide young at-risk women, aged 14 to 25, with leadership skills to improve their future economic security. Through training and workshops, participants will increase their leadership, facilitation and presentation skills, and will lead a gender-based analysis of the agencys programs and services, to ensure that the needs of girls and young women are reflected in their approaches and activities. The process and results will be presented to other youth-serving agencies, as well as orientation sessions on a "How to Guide" for community stakeholders. |
