Purpose: This 24 month project will engage men and boys aged 15-25 years in the West Broadway area of Winnipeg, to become part of the solution in ending violence against women and girls. The organization will adapt an engagement model which promotes a healthy, compassionate, and responsible model of masculinity and encourages community-based leadership and collaboration between men and women’s networks. Based on this model, participants will be supported to develop a strategy to engage and educate their community to end violence against women and girls. Participants will have the opportunity to develop multimedia materials for raising community awareness that can be used to support community-based strategies and mobilize the community at large to end violence against women and girls.
