Purpose: This 24 month project will provide young women aged 15-25 with opportunities for learning that will address their under-representation in civic and political sectors. Young women in seven communities within the Metro Vancouver area will engage with decision-makers such as local government representatives, advisory boards and committees and will implement activities and community-based projects to examine and address the key barriers they face to their participation in civic and political life.
