Purpose: | This 36-month project aims to reduce the rates of violence against women with disabilities and deaf women across Canada, including the North. The project will be implemented in various communities to engage women with disabilities, deaf women, and local stakeholders, such as service providers and community groups, to improve relevant services and community supports. Activities include workshops for participants, training for service providers and the development of a toolkit that can be used to replicate the community engagement approach in other communities. |
