Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||Community MicroSkills Development Centre|
|Purpose:||This 24-month project will address the barriers to community efforts to prevent violence against women and girls in high-risk Toronto neighbourhoods. The project will engage participants and stakeholders such as service providers, womens and other community organizations in identifying gaps in available services in order to develop a comprehensive community strategy to address the issue. A violence prevention model for at-risk neighbourhoods developed by the Rexdale Womens Centre will be adapted for piloting in the selected neighbourhoods.|
