Purpose: | This 24-month project will engage young women, girls, community members, ethno-cultural agencies and service providers in identifying and developing strategies to address violence committed in the name of so-called honour in Toronto. An advisory committee, in consultation with young women, girls and other partners, will identify gaps in services and create a coordinated strategy to assist women and girls who are particularly vulnerable to being victims of violence in the name of "honour". |
