|Recipient Name:||Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach|
|Purpose:||This 24-month project will address the institutional barriers and other factors that limit local efforts to advance the economic security and prosperity of women in the Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach. The project will engage women in enhancing their economic options by tapping into opportunities in their communities. The organization will build partnerships to identify the barriers First Nations women face in accessing suitable employment in their community and address their economic needs and unique challenges. The project will engage women and local stakeholders, including employers and community organizations, in the development of a community plan that will outline concrete strategies for increasing economic opportunities for women.|
