Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||Comité de la Condition Féminine au Témiscamingue|
|Purpose:||This 24-month project will work to prevent sexual violence against women and girls in the Témiscamingue region. The project will examine institutional barriers and other factors that limit the ability of stakeholders to address the specific needs of rural women and girls who are victims of sexual violence. Stakeholders including law enforcement, health services, shelters, and community organizations will work together to implement and test best practices to improve support services for women and girls. A formal framework will be put in place based on the development of protocols and the creation of a community of practice to facilitate networking between stakeholders.|
