Purpose: This 36-month project will engage Aboriginal women, girls, men and boys in developing and testing tools and resources to promote safety and violence prevention for Aboriginal women and girls. Project PEACE (Prevention, Education, Action, Change, and Evaluation) will better equip Aboriginal women and girls to identify risks to their personal safety and increase their knowledge on how to reduce violence in their lives. Aboriginal men and boys will have greater awareness of the issue and become fully engaged in working to prevent violence against Aboriginal women and girls.
