Purpose: This 24-month project will advance the financial preparedness of francophone immigrant women in the Niagara Region of Ontario. Working with local women and community partners from the financial and academic sectors, the project will examine the limitations in current programs that affect the economic prosperity of women in the region. It will work collaboratively with financial institutions and organizations to review their existing programs and services, and pilot an approach within one organization to make improvements that respond to the specific needs of francophone immigrant women.
