Purpose: This 30 month project will implement a sustainable mentorship model to retain and advance women in the mining industry in British Columbia. In partnership with stakeholders, a mentorship model will be developed to address the professional barriers facing women engineers in training or production operators to increase advancement opportunities within the industry. The model will be piloted in different locations to increase transferability to other sites in the future.
