Purpose: This 30-month project will work to increase economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs who are at the stage of growing their businesses in the Mauricie region. Key regional stakeholders will examine the needs and barriers facing women entrepreneurs, and identify existing best practices to address them. The project will then implement sustainable strategies to diversify and increase business opportunities for women through the development of a regional action plan. Innovative practices and mechanisms developed through the project will be shared in six key areas of the region in order to support the implementation of the action plan.
