Purpose: This 36-month project will work to increase the economic prosperity of Montreal’s immigrant women entrepreneurs. Models will be developed from proven practices of successful women business owners and self-employed women, and shared with stakeholders to improve existing policies and services that support entrepreneurs in Montreal. The models will also be compared to existing services provided by local agencies to identify gaps in available services. The most promising practices will then be identified and piloted by stakeholders in the region to increase intervention strategies for immigrant women entrepreneurs.
