|Purpose:||This 36-month project will improve services for Aboriginal women who are victims of sexual violence in Winnipeg. Through partnerships, a coordinated, culturally appropriate community response model, including an outreach strategy and protocols, will be developed between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal service providers. Service providers, such as health, education, police and legal services, will be supported to implement changes to their respective policies and referral intake procedures to better support Aboriginal women.|
