Purpose: This project 36-month will engage men and boys in addressing violence against Aboriginal women across Canada. Building on existing violence prevention models, the project will develop, pilot and share a national toolkit to engage men and boys. The project will also create and promote a national awareness day where national male leaders and community partners would promote awareness of, and action on, violence against Aboriginal women and girls. Key partners such as community leaders, Aboriginal women, and organizations already working to engage men and boys in addressing violence against women will provide input into all project activities.
