Purpose: This 36-month project will raise awareness among youth in First Nation communities across Saskatchewan and create strategic partnerships with provincial stakeholders to address gender-based violence against Aboriginal women and girls. This project will work with service providers and provincial decision-makers to coordinate action and enhance services to better meet the cultural-specific needs of Aboriginal women and girls. In collaboration with key partners, this project will also develop and deliver curriculum for youth targeting young men and boys to be delivered in First Nation schools on-reserves across the province.
