It also aims to increase womens inclusion, empowerment, and participation in governing structures within the housing cooperatives and community in Quebecs Greater Montreal region. The project will mobilize stakeholders from the housing sector, federal and provincial institutional partners, as well as womens and community organizations to implement systemic changes, based on gender-based analysis, that will be piloted in cooperative housing projects in three Montreal boroughs. The development of gendered practices will bring about optimal conditions for women residents' on-going participation in decisions that affect them in their cooperative housing. |
