Purpose: This 36-month project will address the systemic barriers which contribute to women’s housing insecurity in Toronto. Through the project, community partners and key-decision makers will be engaged to increase their understanding of issues contributing to women’s homelessness, and a participatory needs assessment will be conducted to assess current housing policies and services. An action plan will then be developed to implement systemic solutions to address barriers to safe, affordable housing and increase access to housing options for marginalized women across the city.
