Purpose: This 36-month project will address systemic barriers of gender bias and stereotypes for women in the science, engineering, trades, and technology (SETT) sectors. Through partnerships, the organization will conduct a participatory needs assessment on gender bias and stereotypes in the workplace. An industry informed strategy , promising approaches and models will be piloted with committed partners and will be shared with government policy makers, funders, other potential employers and sector leaders to promote their uptake. Results will also be disseminated amongst broader stakeholders in order to strengthen coordinated responses to addressing barriers in the workplace.
