Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards

Recipient Name: Catholic Family Services of Prince Albert
Location: Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
Date: 2017-03-06
Value: $334,000.00
Type: Grant
Purpose: This 36-month project will seek to increase the coordination of services among community organizations to improve responses for women who have experienced violence in Prince Albert. Systemic gaps in reporting and support mechanisms that lead to unequal care for women such as variance in privacy legislation interpretation, risk assessment tools, and a focus on post-violence intervention rather than prevention will be addressed. The organization will work with partner agencies to develop and implement a strategy focusing on service sector alignment using an evidence based approach and developing or improving policies and protocols. Results will be disseminated amongst broader stakeholders in order to strengthen coordinated responses for women who have experienced violence.
Comments: Multi-year project
