Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||Harmony House|
|Purpose:||This 36-month project will seek to address gaps in family justice services for women who have experienced violence. In collaboration with key stakeholders including survivors, family law practitioners, law professors, and womens resource centres and shelters, the organization will conduct a gender-based analysis of the impact of family law practice on survivors of violence. The project will develop a collaborative training model for legal professionals; revise family law courses at Ottawa University; and increase placements of law students in family law practices and clinics. The results of the project will be shared with legal professionals and stakeholders working to support women who have experienced violence in Ontario.|
